Anybody know where I can get hold of smaller sizes of fins, I have looked in a couple of dep. stores like Giant but they don't seem to have a lot to choose from. I am not looking for expensive professional stuff, just some cheap child fins/flippers for the pool. Is it worth going to one of the real diving shops for this like in Lucky Plaza?

There's a shop called Ocean Paradise - or something similar to that - with locations in Tanglin Mall and the Paragon that often has flippers for kids. I don't recall how much they are - maybe around S$30 or so? Not sure.

WE got our kids fins from Arena - they have some really good ones at about $30 which last from sizes 1 through to 5. They also had some cheaper options as well. You have to ask at the counter as they sometimes hide the stock under all the swim wear for some reason.

Got ours about ten days ago at Galen sports in Bukit Timah Plaza-around $30. each. I have a further question-I want mine to learn to snorkel so we can do it on a cool vacation somewhere. Does anyone know where you can take alesson or how you teach yourself? Is there really even much to it? I don't know. Thanks

Hey scoobydoo! Snorkeling is so easy, there's nothing to it. All you have to do is breathe through your mouth! That comes automatically coz your nose is blocked by the mask. Just try it! My 4-year-old practised in the pool, he now snorkels everytime we go on vacation! He's seen so many cool fish: starfish, clownfish, parrotfish, etc. We got our fins from Taka.

Thanks folks! That helps tremendously. I'll now go get the masks and we'll get on it. It sounds so cool to be able to see all the underwater life.
