Hello all,
I've just been informed by the company who has hired me that my EP application has been rejected since I do not meet their qualification (even though I have a recognized degree from a US university and meets the salary requirement). They are now trying to apply for an S-pass for me and I have to wait again.
My question is, when do you usually submit the supporting document (such as education certificate / diploma, passport copy, etc?). I was told by the HR that they didn't need it yet even though my application had already been submitted. I was under the impression that they need to submit the supporting docs WITH my application?
Thank you

I have an EP. It was applied for online and they didn't ask for anything. When I arrved inSingapore and went to Ministry of Manpower, they still didn't ask to see any qualifications andsimply stamped the passport and issued the EP. Not sure why.

Hi,
My EP was rejected too by MOM, they told my office that i have "insufficient experience". I just have 1 year working experience, so now the company will make a testimonial letter to appeal and I also asked my previous employer for a testimony too. So, is there anything else that I can submit to support my EP? is educational testimonial will help?thank you

hello to you both,
what field are you applying into? i read in other forums that some fields are getting hard to get employment passes while others dont. i gathered that those in IT fields are getting easier passes as evidenced by people who posted that they got their passes lately.

i heard differently.. i heard people with high paying jobs are getting easy approvals, while people with lower EP (Q pass for example) and S-pass are getting low rate approvals.

we are talking here of field as category and not pay category.
of course, the higher the pay, MOM will not investigate lesser because they know a company offering a jobseeker a high salary means the person has a great skill to offer. the P1 pass in fact needs no vetting.
