going to hanoi shortly and want to rent bikes to ride around the city - anyone know if it is all possible to rent bikes with kid carriers on the back or just wishful thinking on my part?  tks

Visited Hanoi recently and loved it, but would never consider cycling there, especially not with children.  Just crossing the road is taking your life in your hands!

I absolutely agree with PP!  Hold on VERY TIGHT to your child's hand when crossing the streets in Hanoi.  The motorcyclists do not stop for pedestrians, they just try to drive around them.  Forget the bike!  Shocked

Don't even think about it.  Your kids would have much more fun, and be safer, in a cyclo.  We did it with our kids, one adult and one child in each cycle, it's great.
