i have a question on FCFD's.
- how do i transfer say a AUD time deposit (P+I) to my Oz bank account in the most cost efficient way - minimising bank fees etc

i do recall doing this 7/8 yrs ago & was slapped with a few fees (which i am not keen on doing this time 'round)

Thanks in advance for your advice

I'd be interested to know too.  I just transferred money by telegraphic transfer and the fees amounted to $45....

Check with your Bank.  Different banks have different charges.

If your account with with Citi, and if your FTD has matured, you just need to give instructions to the banker to remit P+I to your said bank account in Australia, and you will just need to pay the cable fee of S$30.  There should be no commission as it is to be sent to your own bank account.  Usually, banks will want to impose a commission for 3rd party accounts.
