So far I have just noticed the connection with CDP.  Why is this connection necessary? Would CDP tax my stocks with my Singapore broker? Is GST added to anything in relation to stocks?

conn cud be to allow elec. dr/cr of stock holdings in a paperless sys/
just guessing - think no tax on div. here, or on wealth either -

assuming u r a foreigner , i'm curious 'bout y u wud consider trdg SG stocks - relative to the US mkts, this is rather transactionally inefficient

but maybe things hv chged

brok.rates, liquidity,  mkt data feed, charting software , compettition, gen info  -

 recall reading an art. in inst, invest. a year ago in whch SG was not in the top 5 of equity mkts in terms of liquidity ranking

as an eg . i trade us stocks via IB ... now, IB,... prob the worlds most innovative & tech savvy broker , at last chk they did not offer SG stocks , tho they pretty much do the whole world ...dunno why ....cud it be tech issues wi SGX ?

Or could it just simply be spelling, grammar or even punctuation issues ??.
