The post was referring to singapore dickhead !.

You are a classic example of why FT is needed here.

And my post was on all the good that FT brought to a country like Dubai who relied so much on these gifts from God!

On behalf of all the clueless Singaporeans in Singapore companies like GIC, SIA, Keppel, CapitaLand, CDL and all the other Singapore companies, we are eternally thankful to all you foreign *ahem* talent for showing us how much better you all are!

SingaporeX,

You started this fight so expect comments to follow. You are now making yourself sound sillier and sillier.

It wasn't the "FT" in Dubai who put the plans out, it was the Sheik. Pretty sure he is not "FT". All the top jobs there are still run by royalty.

Well, when I was there during happier days I distinctively remembered running into a legion of foreign talent yapping on about how they are bringing in global best practices and helping to plug the talent gap in the country.

SingaporeX,

What has the "man" done to you to be so bitter? You have to look at yourself before you can complain about "FT".

You mentioned Dubai first. This has nothing to do with the original post. Talent can plug a gap. Its the leaders who implement policy though.

Grow up... again.

Well, look at all the good all that talent did.

But of course, if things go wrongly its the Emiratis' fault (I guess the other side of that Self Promotion trait I mentioned is Finger Pointing)

For the love of god.

Your just making yourself sound more and more bitter. It was an honest question. What has a "FT" ever done to you to deserve all this venom?

So what your saying is a head of state shouldn't take responsibility for their actions?

Oh, on the self promotion thing, it ironic a Singaporean is saying that.

As you lived there, no doubt you can shed some light as to what caused the Dubai economic crash.

Here's a clue - $80b of govt debt couldn't be repaid. How do you think FTs contributed to that?

I'm going to ignore most of your ridiculous posts but can't resist replying to your first question (Don't you expat "foreign talent" have anything better to do apart from nit picking non-native speakers' English?)

Firstly, this was quite a fun thread which isn't actually just targeting non-native English speakers. It's also referring to the ridiculous business language that has emerged over the last few years.

Anyway, don't you have anything better to do than troll an EXPAT forum? How tragic that you don't.

...look it up the company is called Nakheel and its debt is now the Dubai government's problem.

[/quote

Funny that, seeing as Nakheel is owned by the government!  Roll Eyes

Rather than continuing to post further nonsense here, your time might be better spent reading up on the topics you clearly have a very tenuous grasp of.

SingaporeX,

You have been clasping at straws this whole time. I am beginning to feel your anger stems to Australians probably during your time in Dubai.

Grow up. This is the real world. Bad stuff happens. Pick yourself up and move on. Stop being bitter and you will find life is a bit easier.
