Need to be employed before going to Singapore?

I wonder if I, swedish 22 year old with a bachelor degree, could go to singapore just as any other tourist, and then find me a job there and get employed? Or do I have to get the job and permit first, before going there? (As in the US I believe.)

I found a job while on social visit pass.Once I was hired, the employer applied for my EP, and it was granted. It can be done.

There are lots of local folks with quality, logistics, and general business experience here, so a foreign worker with zero experience doesn't bring much value, even if they're working for 1/2 or 1/4 pay (keep in mind that these aren't highly paid professions in the first place, so if you do score an internship like this, you'd be living very frugally). Your language skills are probably your most unique talent, so finding a company where Swedish or Finnish fluency is valuable is probably a good place to start.

try one of the Swedish related MNCs here e.g, ABB.
