Air France?

Any thoughts on what Air France are like to fly with?  Will be flying with older children.

Why would this be important?  All big European airlines are the same, they are safe and the personnel is usually nice.

Fortunately not all big European airlines are the same, some are much better than others.  When I used them for regional flights within the EU they were fine, better than BA.  Havent used them long haul. Have a look at the reviews on seatplans dot com

My small experience show that regarding quality and service Air France in on top of the EU company...

Better than US company but less good that than Singapor or Emirates..

Regarding security, I think it's at the top...

Last year they were doing some sort of promotion so we have 3 separate visitors come out from the UK on them.  Each one swore never to fly with them again.  They all missed connections due to cancelled flights and ended up sitting for hours in Paris airport and all commented on how rude the staff were.  Emirates on the other hand that seem to be doing a promotion this year, seem to be doing a really good job as the 2 guests so far that have flown out on them have been raving about how wonderful service is....
I personally have never flown either though
