Driving in Sarawak (and seafood recommendation too please)

Has anyone ever driven from
1)Kuching to Sibu
2)Kuching to Bintulu
3)Bintulu to Miri
? If yes, I appreciate any advice for this totally "Sarawak newbie".... I know there are domestic flights between the above cities but I am just wondering if driving would be a good option too.

Yupe I heard roads are curvy in Sarawak and am advised not to drive at night. I can drive pretty ok in Msia/Sin/US/JP excep :)t maybe in KL/Bangkok/Jakarta... (no offense people!)

Anyway the drive is all for business purpose (turning up some networks) but I do appreciate info on where to stop for great seafood along the way and which great hotel to stay in at Sibu/Bintulu/Miri.

Roads OK then and I'm sure they've improved out of sight.

I used to live in KB and I can assure you that roads were not ok between Miri and KB 34 years ago; as 29 years ago it was a dirt road!
