Hi
Wondering if anyone knows a little about scanning old photos quickly, either:
1.Reasonably priced service to scan >1000 photos. There is a US service at 5cents per photo but I am not sure I want to send [recious photos to the US. Local rate on 1 site is 30cents
2. I bought a scanner and can put 5 photos on at once. However I am anot sure of the software that picks up the photos individually. Does anyone know what software and how much?
Appreciate any input.

I've scanned a considerable amount of my families old photos, you can use basically any graphic package like Corel Draw to split up the photos in individual files but after some time I decided to or store them as they are scanned - it was just too much work splitting up the photos in individual files, maybe when I am retired I will do that .. hummm probably not.
