Babystrollers for 2 kids

I'm pregnant and likely to move to Singapore in the next 3 months from NY - is it easy to find great 2 child (one on top of the other) strollers over there, or is this something I should buy in the USA? Any other thoughts on childcare things that are better to buy in the USA (my oldest is 2). Thanks!

DEFINITELY but one in the US and bring it wit you.  You'll probably find what you want here but it will cost significantly more.  I'm currently looking at a new stroller (amongst other things) and comparing US and UK prices to SG, there is a major price difference. I was recent;y buying a car seat and was socked that it was approx S$680 here.  I ordered it on the US, had it sent to my husband's hotel when he was there on business and it cost US$180.  So if I were you I'd load up on anything you need and send it over with your shipment.  Happy shopping.

I totally agree with the above post.  I am currently expecting my first child and was shocked by the prices of baby things here.  Everything is available, but at twice the cost of UK and so I am getting my family to bring out most things for me when they visit so if you have the chance, bring all the expensive hardwear you need with you (although you can still get everything you don't manage to bring out here).

toys and children books are very expensive here.

Buy any large item baby things you will need in the US and ship them over with your other stuff. As others have said, baby stuff is expensive here -- certainly more expensive than in the US. Get car seats, strollers and whatever else you will need or want and put it in your shipment.
