  Hi all,

I  currently reside in San Francisco, CA, USA.  I have about 4 years teaching experience (mostly anywhere from 10 years old thru elderly) abroad.  I have taught in Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan.  I now have my sights set on Singapore Grin.  I have a BA and a TEFL certificate and experience in teaching English and Math.

I am wondering what I can expect to make with my qualifications, also what is the best way I can look for a job there?  I am assuming it would be best to be there knocking down doors!  I would appreciate it if you can refer me to some reputable job site for Singapore I can browse.  Lastly, where are some good areas to live in Singapore?  I like a mix of city and countryside.

Thanks all.  I appreciate your help! Grin

A mixture of countryside and city?
Anyone know of any "countryside" in Singapore?
Do your research before going to Singapore.  Do an online search for international schools and language schools, take a look at the websites of the individual schools.  They advertize teaching vacancies.  Generally, you need a teaching qualification to teach in an international school, but not in a language school.
