Would you let your partner sleep with someone for $300K Sing?

Had an interesting hypothetical situation with a group of friends as to whether they would let their partners sleep with someone in exchange for $300k Singaporean dollars. There were 4 couples and i was very surprised by their answers.

I thought it would be interesting to see if there was any consensus with any fellow forum members on this issue and what your opinions?

Or more importantly can you put a price on it?

Of course not. What kind of insipid question is that?  To rent out your partner for a mere $300...actually any amount for that matter...says she means absolutely nothing to you and makes her a prostitute to boot.  Surely you're joking...

This is just the same theme as that film with Robert Redford called "Indecent Proposal", but for less money.

My guess is you would, once the initial passion / jealousy phase was over. So during a good relationship for the first year or two my answer may be no, but after that ?

Think how many visits to OT that would fund !!!

The was a great Saturday Night Live skit a few year ago that was a take-off of Indecent Proposal. The skit took place in a NYC ghetto and the "proposal" was for half a six-pack and a carton of Marlboros. It was a hoot.

YES. If I was under pressure during the negitiation I am not sure how low I would go. But if he was agreeable looking to my wife I would have no hesitation going to 100K even less. Jeezuz some people do it for free and you guys would turn down 300K.
