Nope. All I hear are rejection stories.  It's scary and sad and frustrating especially after pouring so much money, time and energy into the Singapore economy.

Wow, things must really have changed!

I applied end 2008 and got my acceptance within 2 weeks.

6 months for application turnaround is approaching the time frame of a Thai PR application!

PR applied in late January 2010, got back the approval first week of May. Took 3 months, 2 weeks.  (I mentioned this on another post)

There was no interview, but oddly they did ask for complete CV details of my parents and siblings (all living overseas) at about the two month mark.  For some reason they wanted this information in absolute, unbroken chronology, which was very difficult to dig up given that my parents are in their late 70's.  Took me two passes at the ICA 5th floor submission counter before they were satisfied with the data.

I submitted an application in September 2009 and it was rejected in June this year. Then I submitted an appeal and I am still waiting at the moment. Does anyone have any idea how long will an appeal take?
