Hi everyone
I'm in desperate urgent need or either amaretti or ratafia biscuits. Does anyone know where I can get them? Have tried Cold Storage but they only have gluten free ones, which I would imagine won't be quite the same.
Thanks very much

Have you tried Culina or Jones the Grocer at Dempsey Hill?

Thanks PP, have called both of those and they are both saying they don't have them.... although I might pop by just in case!
Any other ideas anyone?
Thanks

Amaretti biscuits don't tend to contain gluten, so you will probably find the "gluten free" ones are exactly the same (though maybe priced more highly!) I think they are labelled as such just to indicate to coeliacs that they can eat them.

Thanks so much for your replies.
Glutened - I had wondered if that was the case! Good to know I can use those ones then.
Kitty Kat - thank you, I've got to go there tomorrow to get a tin for this pud, so will check out Phoon Huat, and at least they should be significantly cheaper there than the gluten free ones!!
Haven't tried Dempsey yet as I was going to go there tomorrow if Phoon Huat fails.
This should be a great pudding! Thank you for your help!
