Hi,
I would be very grateful for any help you can provide on an outline of the process for obtaining a visa for a maid.

I've read older posts about the topic, many of which say that it is easy to do so online etc, but unfortunately I've not yet found a "step by step guide", which helps me to understand the necessary actions with the Singaporean and Philippino authorities. In particular, as our maid currently supports us in another country, and is moving here with us, we want to ensure compliance for all of us upon arrival.

BTW - I am aware of the need to pay the government levy and the insurance, but am not sure  whether "registration of the contract" with the Philippine consulate is currently required? (Older posts suggested perhaps not....but this could well have changed over time)

Many thanks in advance for any tips you can provide.

I was told by the Philippine embassy that I had to use an accredited agency (their website has a full list) for the Philippines paperwork. It's possible to do the Singapore work permit on your own and it looks straightforward on the mom website but I found it easier to just get the agency to do the whole lot.
