Hello!

I need your help!
I am trying to organize my son's 3rd Birthday and now I am looking for a nice venue.
I wanted to book the "hands on"-area at Hort Park, but they don't rent it for parties anymore.
Now I am looking for something similar. An outdoor area, covered but possibility to go outside easy plus toilets.
No need of catering or entertainment, will take care of that.
Probably 25-30 pax. inc. adults.
Any good ideas from you?
Happy about any suggestion!
Thanks!
Maja

you're doing it first thing in the morning or at a venue with a pool I'd say forget it. Too hot! Loads of hot sweaty red-faced children and adults.

or it'd get rained off!

You could try doing it at Pasir Ris park - it's quite well shaded and fairly quiet if you do a weekday morning, there's a big children's playground (although I'm not sure if there's much for small children - you'd have to go and check it out first to see what you think) and there are a few shelters there that you could set up your food etc in.

The other place I can think of is the children's garden at the Botanics - I'm not sure if they take bookings as such, but you might be able to go there with a picnic and let the kids have a play

the Zoo.

Not sure whether they accept bookings without doing the catering themselves though. They have 10-15 places available for booking, indoor and outdoor.

I think you can book a covered area at the Jacob Ballas Gardens for parties.  There's the water fountain bit the kids can play in, plus explore the herb garden and play on the climbing frame.  A bit weather dependent, but at least you can get under cover if it pours.
