OK so the PEP and is non-renewable after the 5 years it is valid.

What are your options then - is another EP OK or is PR the only option?

Nobody knows.

On another forum some PEP folks applied for PR and they were all approved, even in this 'rejection' time.

I guess it is a stepping stone to PR. Switch back to EP should be optional, but then your employer needs to help you too.

After the PEP expires, you have to go back to a company specific employment pass (if you don't want PR or citizenship).
