I was listening to the news on "Russia Today" Channel 151 and was informed that Obama has been warned by ex-CIA NOT to allow Israel to attack Iran. With Israel's control over USA inside and outside the White House, the only course is for UK to warn USA they are on their own this time.  Angry

Iran has the right to develop a nuclear bomb. If Israel does not like it, they should comply with decades of UN Resolutions and do the right thing.

If Russia were to attack Iraq, Afghanistan and make such threatening gestures, boycotts and offshore patrols across the strategically important Middle East I am sure the USA and "allies" would have squared up to them long ago but because its USA we accept its the right thing to do. And with their fleet presence both conspicuous and reactive, itching to have a go at Iran, its strange how their terms of engagement prevent any contact with Somali pirates until its too late to intervene.  Huh

Israel, that US assassin in Middle East, continues to starve and collectively punish innocent civilians in Gaza denying them the basic and essential needs to survive.

Meanwhile we continue to see the MNCs dominate US politics denying any Trade caps which would at least allow some essential manufacturing renaissance and job creation. This ongoing policy is designed to cultivate an unskilled multi-ethnic cheap labour force with little education but lots of meaningless qualifications as we have done in UK. This is clear but populations in USA and UK are incapable of reversing these disastrous Open Trade Agreements and are told to be fearful of what is described as "protectionism"..... just as those who talk of immigration controls are branded "racists".  Huh

And let me pre-empt any questions about watching "Russia Today" Channel 151, this being the best alternative to Al Jazerah which is not available, or DW, for accurate unbiased news. I have tried BBC with their red/black ethnic strip but it really is a joke. There was a recent question asked, whether regional dialect is essential today to work for the BBC. Well, its more essential to be of African, Indian or Pakistani extraction since all newscasters are from these countries. The endless mis-spellings on the ticker tape and the uncorrected spoken gaffs..... "the president of Pakistan and Cameroon met today in London...."  Grin

Actually, I don't think any country has the RIGHT to develop nuclear weapons and those who have them should be forced to give them up.  Even if this is not happening, the United Nations has already taken a stand on Iran's nuclear program.  The UN, as you know, is a world body, and can make such decisions..

The safety of the world can only be harmed by the presence of nuclear weapons by another country such as Iran.

Dr. Phil,

In this I disagree with you.  The Jews are our FRIENDS and they hold the moral high ground.

These 'innocent' civilians you talk about in Gaza are nothing but and want nothing more than Israel's existence wiped from the face of the Earth.  PEACE is within their grasp, but this is not what the Palestinians want.

Iran is a dangerous destabilizing force in the Middle East.  They fund all manner of terrorist activity in the region and untold thousands (true innocents) have died because of Iran.

The UN is a useless organization and should be disbanded.  The USA should get out of all of these countries in the Middle East and close all of the hundreds of bases we have all over the World (700 or so if I am not mistaken).

It is time we take care of our own and let the rest of the World take care of itself.
