You guys have far too much time on your hands - seriously guys get a grip or a life or whatever - who the bloody hell cares about your personal debating circles.  Maybe if either of you spent some time with the people who actually need the help you could understand the issues that India/ Pakistan face from the grassroots level. Its ignorants like yourselves who spend more time postulating on the issues than actually doing anything about them are the problem.

Must admit, do have a fair bit of time on my hands now, but that's besides the point.

We are simply debating an issue which you have added to. And we are ignorant for doing this? That's a bit hypocritical.

If I recall, Pakistan was created because without the British to keep them from each others' throats the Hundus and Muslims would have murdered each other.

In fact, they were not. They abolished thugee and sutee, with the result that the population increased.

The white man comes and saves all! Such an old cliche and still followed ardently  Roll Eyes (Even in Avatar, a white handicap man has to come and save the natives  Cheesy)

OM, google Jalianwallah Bagh and please dont tell me Britain was full of Gentlemen with refined behaviour in the past ages.

The British with their divide and rule policy ensured that Hindus and muslims always live in mistrust.

I doubt an Avatar where all actors change clothes and start dancing every 15 minutes, would have been very successful.

Nah! It may not have been (not even in India  Wink) but the storyline could have been modified to have a hero from Navi tribe with the white man playing a 2nd fiddle (maybe this is a taboo in hollywood  Tongue)

Ah, you mean like those Bollywood movies where a white man plays the lead and has an Indian sidekick?

So What, I am not a big bollywood fan but I know for sure who the sidekick is in bollywood movies and it is definitely not an Indian. Believe it or not, world does not revolve around White men
