When do you get your best ideas? Is it in the shower? Or at night? Or when you are stuck in traffic?

For me, things happen most when I am driving and suddenly ideas just struck me like lightning. I read an article on this and there is actually an explanation for this flash of insight. It is called strategic intution and people like Google founders and Steve Jobs use this to create innovative strategies. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this...

at no particular time/place. I just get it randomly...or rather I should say I have no idea as to when I get an idea.

On a side note, thank you so much for starting this...It has been quiet sometime since I read about anything else apart from Fossils, proteins and evolution in this particular forum

Back many many years ago when I was as a student my best ideas always came in the swimming pool - now, I think it's probably on the MRT with my music plugged in. It must be something to do with isolation from noise & distractions.

Funny you mentioned this. I get all my thoughts in the shower! It's amazing how my creative side goes and I plan my future there. I wonder if it's the place I am most relaxed in where I get no interference from the outside world?

Any ideas why? I would be very interested to know. answers please anyone?
