Apparently the Blackberry has too high a level of encryption, India is furious that it cannot snoop on emails.  They are demanding that Blackberry fix this technical "flaw" immediately.

The story in the newspapers is Blackberry has a "security" flaw.

Do people really know that Blackberry is being banned because it is too secure?

What kind of world do we live in where countries can ban a product because it offers too much privacy?

the kind of world with geographic hotspots of extremism where a little Govt monitoring can help prevent some serious grief. To those that rave and rant about privacy...what you got in your closet?

I wonder if that has to do with untraceable pornography moving over Blackberry's.
