Maths Tuition

[Looking for]

I think I'm going have to get one of my children some maths tuition, but before I start looking, I wondered if anyone has got any recommendations of a tutor or a place where tutors advertise.  I'm not sure about Kumon and tuition centres because what I really want them to do is go over what has been done in school that week and make sure everything is understood rather than somewhere that will perhaps do the methods differently to our school and also set more homework (school give enough homework without getting more!).

If there are tuition centres which work in this way rather than using their own methods then I'd also love to hear about them.
