Hey everyone,

I'm new to the board and am currently in the process of relocating out to Singapore in search of opportunity, adventure...well the normal reasons why people live overseas.

My question is this:  I was convicted of DUI a couple years ago and was wondering if that will have any impact on my employment in Singapore? I have all the other notable requirements (degree from a great university, qualified work experience, and for the most part of my life have been a law abiding citizen...No excuse for the DUI, I just screwed up)

As I'm getting ready to move, and the excitment is building, I want to cover my bases.  Any info and insight would be great appreciated.

Thanks all!

You will have to delcare it when you fill in application forms and, if you manage to get a job offer, you will need to declare it on your EP application.  There is plenty of this in the archive and a recent article about it below.
