Boss coming from US this weekend, thinks he's a pool shark.

I need somewhere to take him that's not in the basement of Lucky Plaza.

Any ideas?

I recall Raffles Bar & Billiards at Raffles Hotel had two tables, a little live jazz trio and a great selection of malt liquors. Call ahead to make sure they still have the tables though, because it was a while ago I was last there.

It has full size snooker tables, no pool.

Maybe upstairs at harrys bq. The clarke quay place is ok and you pay for time rather than winner stays on.

Personally I'd take him to handle bar but it isn't upscale just not run of the mill.

Ice Cold Beer or No. 5 (upstairs), Emerald Hill.  ICB has two tables, No 5 has one.

Just know the sytem here.  You write your name on the board and wait for your turn.  Keep your eye on the table and the board, or someone might erase your name.  Also, remember you are playing "Singapore Rules", which can be very different from what you are used do, depending on where you are from.

This assumes you want bar pool.

There are pool halls where you can hire tables, but that's dull.
