Fairprice online ordering - useless

Just got an email from them, they're supposed to be delivering tomorrow and yet again, half the stuff I've ordered is out of stock. It's not fancy stuff that's hard to find, it's basics like baked beans, washing powder, rice, canned drinks and noodles. This is the 5th or 6th time in a row that I've done a big order with them only for there to be a stock issue and for me not to receive the full order.
So that's it for me, no more Fairprice. Has anyone else got any good delivery services that they use? How about the deal that Carrefour and Cold Storage do where you do the shopping and they deliver the non-perishables - is that service any good?

If you go in person to Fairprice Killiney (or the newer one 2 blocks away towards somerset), they will do free delivery for $150 and above, same day.
Even meat, milk etc....but not ice cream and you must purchase before 3pm.
Sundays no delivery.
Otherwise for meats, cheese, etc....try qbonline.

We use Cold Storage and their delivery service is not too bad, however at least one standard item is out of stock. But it is convenient as they deliver next day and deliveries are up to nine in the evening.

I went to Carrefour today and did my shopping - they're supposed to be delivering it later so I'll see how that goes.
Fairprice told me I'd have to pay $53 for cancelling the order too!!!

Cold Storage are just as bad, ordered 20 items, and they did not have 6 in stock. "Sorry we don't have any bread"! also fruit juice, again not exactly rare items.
When we did get it onions stared to rot within 2 days and the grapes went to mush in the fridge after a day!

you are better off going into the grocery store and placing the home delivery of your heavy items and taking perishable home
