PP: So what kind of school could accept me. I considered it but uppon search i only find places hard to get in. That require completed education almost, i mean is there any school doing assessments of skils as enrolment criteria? Any further advice?
Digital film making, motion graphics, graphic design and video post-production are the areas i prefer to study. How and where can i get some guidance?
Check lasalle and nanyang academy of fine arts. Both schools are willing to admit students based on skills and both have a good reputation in the industry here.
The work i do very few locals can: video compositing/special effects; 3d modeling; promotional print design and web design. These different areas combined in one person are hard to find specially in high quality.
I'm in the industry and I would say that while the number of locals with this skill set is low, it definitely isn't rare. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend going to school in Singapore to gain a foothold. I reckon it will be worth the investment.
