Thank you so much for that good info on these previous 2 posts!

I am sorry for getting carried away but sleepless nights and stress can have a heavy and sensitive charge on me.

I am gathering as much testamonials and other documents to try the appeal and i have also found other companies that need almost the same position filled. I will be sending all this today in hopes that this first company tries the appeal with success. I'll suggest the re-package approuch to my hr lady just to be sure. This time to the companies subsidiary department which i assume is bigger and with more wiggle space on the quota.

Should i also tell her to make a case for me or is she going to to do it as part of a protocol on the second try automaticly?
At MOM do they take into consideration multiple companies apply for the same guy? Like: "ok this guy is wanted by more than 1 company so we will give him a eased up foot"
Is it going to increase my chances or is it irrelevant?

Cheers and thanks for the good wishes it gives a positive feel!

If the quota is full then it is full, you can appeal all you want (the rules are clearly posted on the MOM web, there is also a self assessment tool to tell you whether you would likely get accepted).  References etc won't make the slightest bit of difference if quota was the basis for rejection.  If the basis was something else (like experience level) then fine it may help but you can't change the quota.

Another company it may be different and the stuff you are gatherting could be useful.

Can confirm a friend's experience trying to hire a foreigner when his company's quota was reached - short of ministerial intervention, you won't get exemption for it. Unless they can prove exceptional skills/talent (ie. you possess qualifications and skills not found in SG), but I don't think it applies in your case.

PP: So what kind of school could accept me. I considered it but uppon search i only find places hard to get in. That require completed education almost, i mean is there any school doing assessments of skils as enrolment criteria? Any further advice?

Digital film making, motion graphics, graphic design and video post-production are the areas i prefer to study. How and where can i get some guidance?

Check lasalle and nanyang academy of fine arts. Both schools are willing to admit students based on skills and both have a good reputation in the industry here.

The work i do very few locals can: video compositing/special effects; 3d modeling; promotional print design and web design. These different areas combined in one person are hard to find specially in high quality.

I'm in the industry and I would say that while the number of locals with this skill set is low, it definitely isn't rare. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend going to school in Singapore to gain a foothold. I reckon it will be worth the investment.
