Hi,
we're trying to make Mexican food from scratch at home but can't seem to find the spice cilantro. Does anyone know anywhere in Singapore where we could buy it?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know cilantro is also known as corinader(fresh or ground spice) which is also known as chinese parsley (fresh) here.
Hope this helps.

Try Cold Storage. But it's sold under its proper name of coriander. It's in the veg section by the salads. Small packets cost about $4.

As someone else noted, Chinese parsley is the same as cilantro. It's very cheap in the supermarkets too.

corriander is quite cheap (I'm not sure where 'everywhere' shops - Harrods perhaps  Wink ), it's about $1.50 in Cold Storage and cheaper in Giant and Fairprice but not always in stock when I go in to those two stores, but it usually is in stock at CS.  And yes, called Chinese Parsley over here.

Do you mean that cilantro, Chinese parsley and Dhania are not proper names for this herb?

All of the names are "proper" and refer to the same herb.  It's just a matter of geography and common usage.  Americans say cilantro, Europeans, coriander and Indians dhania.  In Asia, it's Chinese parsley.

It's also available at the Thai Supermarket in Golden Mile Complex for about $1.50/bunch. There it's ผักชี (Pak Chee -Coriander)
