Does anyone know if there is any law against selling tickets for an event you have bought through SISTIC?  I don't want to make a profit, just want to get my money back.  As background, all the good seats (categories 1 through 11) for the event are sold out (Bizet's Carmen on Saturday night) and the numpties at SISTIC won't let me exchange them for Tuesday night's performance where there are still loads of tickets available!

If you can sell them is there a website where they can be sold?

I don't think there's a law against it - people are always reselling tickets openly on websites around here.  I've done it myself without giving it a second thought and I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it.

I've been able to cancel a ticket bought through SISTIC and they refunded the money straight back onto my credit card.

Although in my situation I had purchased the ticket online, then called up 2 hours later & managed to get better seats for the exact same concert. They cancelled my original purchase, then processed the brand new one. So I'm not sure if the rules change once your ticket has been posted to you.
