does there exist a mini version of the deep fat fryer that takes less than half a litre of oil?

Tefal brought one out a few years ago called Actifry (or something), but as far as I know it never made it to these shores.

I'm not sure if they're still doing it - it was supposed to cook a portion of chips using 1 tablespoon of oil and the reviews I read at the time said it was good but not very convenient for the whole family as it couldn't cook much food at once.  But if it was successful, I'm surprised there aren't loads of copies of them on the market now so perhaps it didn't really take off.

If you look on Amazon (I use the UK site), they have kitchen equipment on there and people put their reviews so it's worth checking a site like that before buying anything like that I think.
