Where can I find it?  I've looked at Carrefour and Cold storage in Centrepoint but could not find them.  Also looking for Walkers shortbread.  Where have all these items gone?  I have been away for 8 months but I used to be able to buy them at those two places.

Weetabix can be found (as of yesterday) at the small Cold Storage in Siglap.  At the weekend I saw some in Parkway Parade.

Weetbix/weetabix can usually be found at Fairprice upper bukit more often than not it is the aussie one not the english - my kids hate one and love the other.

Shortbread!!  I agree, where has it gone?  I have not been able to buy it for months and even resorted to making my own.  This little exercise has, I'm afraid, become a family joke and I will never make it again.  So if you ever come across it, please post and let me know.

I think I saw some Walkers shortbread in Cold Storage Holland Village last week.  If it wasn't there, it would have been Jelita instead.

My local Fairprice usually has Weetabix and Giant sometimes does too (both East Coast - Parkway Parade & behind the Parkway Centre).

If you live near Centrepoint, have you tried the new Fairprice near Candy Empire out the back of Somerset MRT - they might have it (or there used to be one down Killiney Rd which could be worth a try if it's still there).

As for shortbread - again, try Fairprice or you could check out Mustafa - they have lots of biscuits from the UK (they sometimes have Fox's which I never seem to see in any of the other supermarkets).

Off and on again stock supply in Singapore!

There was the great "Weatabix Drought" in Nov last year - NOWHERE had stock for at least three weeks.  Vegemite also can be out of stock for weeks at a time.   I now stock at least one months emergency supply.

I am amused that once the stock finally makes it way to the shelf it is usually short dated and on sale!

M&S has some own brand shortbread, which is pretty good (and I think cheaper than Cold Storage used to charge for Walkers).

I wonder if some of the current shortages of 'Western' goods are due to overstocking of items for Chinese New Year.  e.g. I noticed the drinks section seemed to be full of chrsysanthymum (sp?) tea and the such-like, plus there are all the pineapple tarts and peanut biscuits in biscuit aisle.

At mustaffas, cold Storage or Ntuc Fairprice.
Shortbread is easy to make, try it. Giant had English Weetabix today.
