After years here in which I've never written a single letter of complaint, the incredibly frustrating experience of renewing my auto insurance with AXA has pushed me to the point of vendetta.

Does anybody know if there is a consumer organisation or other governing body to which I can file a formal complaint?  I'd like to get this done while I'm still good and angry!

Thanks EveHow, but AXA does not appear to be a member, and the web site indicates that I can only complain against members (seems ludicrous, but that's how I read it).

Any other thoughts?

Any serious deficiency in paying out or just the usual "couldn't care less" service? I've also got mortgage insurance with AXA so am curious to know the problem.

There's a consumer advocacy group called CASE you should try.

Don't bother with CASE. I tried to query about one chain raising prices  by more than 3% and they told me its due to the GST and the reply? - get this - retailers can set any prices they want - hows that for the attitude of the consumer "watchdog"? More like a business lapdog.
