Business is booming. Why not to increase the housing allowance. Happy employees = productive employees. I do the same with car allowance. But I also reduce it if costs come down.

Answered your own question. Most sensible employers look at the hosuing market and rents are down, hence allowances should follow.

Please ignore the last post, it was  mistake or a stupid comment by one of those average guys who are stuck on 4 or 5 grand a month housing. Rents are not down. Not moving up as fast as they should be but definitely not down and not likely to go down within the next ten years.

Usually I think your posts on this board are stupid but this time you are right. Many sour wannabe highflyers here with a few grant housing allowance. Ask what the big boys are getting. Time to relocate for some of you as you will be replaced by highly motivated Asian expats who moan less and work more.
