Yes, good luck. Am in my 50s now, spent nearly two decades here. Lower taxes, material reasons. But in my 20s, I had a great time in Sydney and London, fearing nothing, unaware of my limitations, reaching for the sky, and having a good time while doing so. Things like impulsively arriving in Sydney with nothing but a backpack and someone's name, then finding my feet. Or in Europe, making up the numbers for a 7-day ski trip to St Anton, when I couldn't even ski! Learnt quickly, though. Looking back, those are the times when I felt most alive.

Couldn't agree more. I was my poorest in Melbourne, NYC and London, yet absolutely the 20's were the best years of my life.

Yes materially well off here, but not nearly as fun. SG is artificial fun. I met the real people elsewhere.

Go traveling -europe, america, australia -easy places to go, and more inspiring than what you see here. Asia good too, but ideally get to these more exp places whilst you're not locked down!!

Theres a line of no return which you can cross here.  Its when you get to 30+ age group and you stay on because you like the women and before you know it youve fallen for one, a few years later youre holed up in an HDB, funding your in laws and hanging out on the void deck playing with your kids on their bikes wearing your singlet & flip flops and your whole life is working and going to the coffee shop.  If you like the single life here or dont go down the marriage route as you get older each year, theres less choice of women, only the less attractive/SPG and then you start nipping off for weekends to bangkok or visiting OT and turning into a whoremonger.  All the players do eventually.   Get out now before the place eats you and your wallet up.

It's so easy to spot the nice guys and the good looking 30 year old players who you have flash forward of in 15 years, looking like a desperado

To the OP, -bank up the cash, (stay max 3 years -some might say 5, but it can be b0rderline, as the longer the stay the more likely the trajectory -cynical yes -sorry!)and go somewhere good

Google early retirement extreme.  It's a fascinating concept.
