My old mixer is broken and I need to get a new one.
I cook curry which needs ginger & garlic and chillies to be ground to a paste.

Have you found a good reliable mixer you use for this purpose?
I am not sure which brand to buy next.

I recently bought a DeLonghi blender from Best Denkei that came with two jars - a regular glass jar and a short glass jar that threads onto a base with flat blade. I've used this for grinding both dry spices and spice pastes. It was about $100.

The best grinder ever (even grinds ice cubes) is Sumeet.
You can buy it from the big Indian shopping mall in Serangoon...

This ain't bad for a price of $100, I guess. What do you think?  How about its performance?

I'm happy with it and would buy it again. I doubt it would hold up in a commercial setting like a bar or juice stall, but it seems to do everything I expect a blender to do.

That's good to know.  Might have to check on it anytime soon.  Thanks!

You do that, Neeta. And be sure to pick up your bonus cheque this week. The boss is very happy with your work. You've done a great job with your stealth promotion campaign.
