Hi All,
We have just moved to Singapore and I have been searching the net to try and find pre schools near where we will be staying. We will be staying at the Caribbean and Keppel bay and I can only seem to find one pre school at Harbourfront - Cherie Hearts.

Does anyone have any suggestion of other pre schools near the Caribbean. We are happy to take a short bus ride if necessary.

Thanks for your help.  Smiley

Hi,

Are you going to be working and therefore that is why you are looking for a Preschool? If you are not working why don't you try Mommy and Baby classes instead. There is Gymboree in Harbourfront Mall as a start.

Thanks Move3. I will definately try gymboree classes.

However, I will be working from home part time with my old employer (in Australia) and therefore I would like to find somewhere close by to send him for half a day to pre school / day care. Do you know of any near by?

Hi Deekay,

I'm afraid I don't know any as I'm not in that area. Hopefully someone who is will reply to you soon. Otherwise you might have to come into town. If I'm not mistaken most places only do drop off from 18 months. So you might need to find a day care centre instead of a Pre School. I have a 17 month old but I'm only putting him into Pre school after he turns two, so I haven't done all my research! But even then I will probably put him somewhere close to home in River Valley area, which might be a good area for you to look into too.

hi! my daughter was at the thinking box at tanglin - at tanglin shopping centre since 17 months old from 9-3pm...really cute place which is great for young kids because the teacher turnover is non-existent...the whole 2.6 years my daughter was there, the teachers were the same, caring and calm. anyway, don't know whether it's in your area or not but i know two of the mums I knew from the thinking box were living at The Carribean condo at the time...

more choices in town area - depends on what you want in a class. i used to travel from the thomson area.

good luck!

Hi Deekay,

I have just moved in Carribean at Keeple Bay, I am in the same situation as you were when you arrived in Singapore. What did you decide for the pre-school? My baby is 20 months old and I am looking for a childcare not too far from the condo or distant to a short bus ride.

Many thanks for your help!
