Two beautiful healthy and neutered cats need new homes because their owners are changing countries: - call Louse - 9742 1164

FRODO: Tawny grey 3-year-old neutered male, very healthy, loyal, gentle and affectionate, very much a cuddly, teddy-bear house cat. Loveable, very well behaved and house-trained. A great house pet and loyal companion who loves a friendly lap and a comfortable life.

SAMANTHA: 3-year-old feisty, neutered, healthy, slender and free spirited, dainty young ballerina lady who prefers the outside life and knows her own mind. Talkative, affectionate and friendly. Loves a tickle behind the ears.

If you love cats and want a great pet (or two – they get on great together) please consider giving us a new home.

Changing countries!  So pets are disposable.  If they are so great take them with you or did you just want them here; then instead of keeping them as part of the family they know and love - just dump them.  Nice.....

Are you going to adopt the two cats ? No, so what was the point of your response...

At least the OP is making an effort to re-home the two cats with clear descriptions of each of the animals.

Things change, life changes, many animals are re-homed every year in Singapore becuase of these changes ... it's part of life.

I would much rather see a post from an owner making an effort to re-home their animals than filling out yet another form because a lazy owner has dumped their animals on our doorstep.

Not well done.  Hope you feel guilty for "dumping" your unwanted cats.  They served their purpose and now you can't be bothered because you are moving. Shame on you, they (the cats) thought they were part of your family.

Oh but don't worry, they are only cats.

'Fraid to say, PP, that most domestic animals don't tend to share your soppy view of things! Generally if well fed and cared for they will forget their previous owner soon enough, although perhaps not their previous home as they have a homing instinct. Its all about survival.
We even experienced this with a dog...she was neglected so we used to "borrow" her for a year or two - walked her, topped up her food bowl, brought her in on cold nights (not in singapore obviously) and enjoyed a lot of affection back from her. Eventually the son of the person who owned her realised his dad was not really up to looking after her and took her in himself. A year later he brought her back to our neighbourhood - we were really excited to see her again, now sporting a very glossy coat, and went rushing up hoping for a positive reunion. She gave us a happy sort of look with a glimmer of recognition and then gazed her doting eyes up at her new owner. And so she should!
Cats, I should imagine, are even more fickle! You're just a convenient feeding and stroking machine. Their real life is what they get up to at night. Wink

People need to start taking responsibility for these pets. So often there are posts on here from people looking to home their loving cats and dogs.

It really is quite simple. Don't get a pet here unless you are going to take them with you.
It isn't even difficult. You get them chipped as any responsible owner should, keep them up to date with all vaccinations and there are lots of companies that offer to do all the necessary when leaving.

This really pees me off when i look on this forum and see pet owners trying to palm off their pets. They should really do the responsible thing and take them with them.... Don't you think when buying or aquiring your pet that you think before you buy, adopt or foster. It really upsets me when i hear this as the animal has got used to these dickheads who want to get rid of them. Shame on anyone who adopts an animal and gets rid of it after a couple of weeks or months. I hope Karma bites you all on your ass......
