Hi there,

I'm new in Singapore, I've moved here recently from London.
I am architect specialising in interior architecture and I'm interested to do projects over here.

can anyone please advise me where I can find potential clients ?

Well, I would say by doing exactly what you did in London to find clients! Suss out the market here thru the mags. Advertise, try and land an interview in for instance an expat magazine, portfolio presentations, leaving your business card in top range furniture stores. That kind of stuff...

Are you here looking for a job or are you here to work in association with a design company?

just thought of another thing... go to the huge bookstore in ngee ang city and check out the architecture books on hotels and homes throughout asia. There are loads of them! Some are truly fab and would suit your style brilliantly and I'm sure these days it won't be hard to find contacts that way. All the best!

A visit in person is best no matter what or who the potential client is.... i would simply present on a ipad these days. I used to be a photographers rep, I guess it isn't all that different in your world?

No it isn't easy, but you have no choice! When I was a rep people were always disappointed if the photographer didn't come along when I presented work. They just always wanted to meet the person behind the work. And since you make fab stuff it really won't be all that hard! There are plenty books on it too... how to present yourself. That might take away your insecurities. Good luck to you!
