where can i find cheap jap food products

Hi all,
need help from all of u... i am wondering if there is any place i can buy jap products like mirin from wholesalers or something bcos the products sold in supermkts here are so much more expensive than back home in jp. i cant go bk japan so often but i cookk my own meals. can anyone help??

i dont think you'l find much cheap goods here. But you should try mustafa in little india, perhaps you will get lucky?

i buy my japanese stuff in cold storage takashimaya -but its a wee bit expensive....

Try the online yellow pages... i don't live in singapore anymore but had an old japanese lady next door and she got her groceries from somewhere NOT Orchard Road.

They are expensive, especially anything fresh like vegetables imported from Japan.

There is a Japanese mart cum restaurant out here at West Coast Mall (formerly Ginza Plaza) that has a pretty good stock of Japanese products. Not sure on the pricing though.
