Hi,

I am relocating to Singapore in October from France. Wink I would like to know how hard it is to get a Visa for my gay partner.

I read about gay malaysian partner getting a 15day pass and having to leave every 14 days Singapore. But the more he got visas, the shorter it became until he got a 2 days short term visit pass.... Cry

Any gay guy or couple willing to share its own experience is welcomed.

Don't hesitate to contact me, i am looking for some friends because we don't know anybody in Singapore.

Thanks !

not possible - go away

Homophobic ass

frenchyasian - so sorry to say but it will be incredibly tough getting him a pass here but if he has a good job back home you should get him to come in on the PEP pass... look into it plus it last up to 5 years.  The other thing is to perhaps setup a business for him - nothings easy though.  That said there is a very vibrant open gay scene

It is very hard to get any pass for gay couple. The best route is for your partner to apply EP by himself. MOM does not look any gay couple in kind.If you are legally married overseas, you can try applying under DP but I would not want you to hold your breath

Get him to apply for a EPEC.  It will allow him to stay for 1 year in Singapore.  Hopefully, he'll find something within that one year and get an employment pass.

If it's any comfort to OP, the SP government did acknowledge years ago that there's a significant number of gays who would like to work here, do business or visit.  They say that they would tap this market of "pink dollars".  But they stop short of acknowledging your relationship and giving it legal status.  Other de facto couples ( heterosexual) get endorsement from their respective embassies.

It would be wise to apply for the appropriate pass for working/living here.
