Fee for agent

Hi all,

I've just learned from the landrode of our appartment, that I have to pay half of the fee for the agent (which is half a months rent). Is this normal? isn't that usually the landrode who has to take care of this fee?

Do you deal directly with the landlord? If so, you don't need to pay anything. But you will have to do the legal stamping yourself & pay for it.

If you are dealing with the agent and it is below $2500, then yes, you have to pay half month rent only.
