HI there

I'm looking for some bags to put party favours in. The kind you get given from the cheaper little shops when you buy costume jewellery. I've always seen loads around until now, when I actually want to buy some. Any idea's where to try?

I know Spotlight used to carry them too (though I find they can be pricier about the most ordinary things).

If you're comfortable poking around in any nearby HDB estates, have seen them around stationery-type shops or the dollar-store type shops.

How about Popular the bkstore chain?

Try Chinatown - remember seeing them at a few of the stalls where it's 3 for $5 (or whatever mulit-buy price deal they have!)

I've seen them at the party supply stores along Middle Road (between Victoria and Queens st).  Also in the party stores in the Verge (Tekka mall).

You can get them at all  the shops that sell beads etc (meaning shops that sell beads which you buy to make your own jewelry).

There are all over the place, in Chinatown (google shop names, there are 4-5 in the mall next the mrt. One name that comes to mind is Bead Spin.

The shops that sell only plastic disposables etc also could have them.

Spotlight has them for about $4.95 per 10 in a packet.  They are in the section near wedding decorations.

They are circles of organza fabric, and then you need to put your own ribbon to tie them up.  Perfect for sugar coated almonds for weddings.
