Hi

My fiance is in singapore she is working there we r planning to get married so what i want know is how to apply for DP ( Dependent Pass )and what are the chances of getting an S pass after u have DP.

My spass application is being rejected once before and the reason which was given to me was that my qualification and experience didnt match the profile i was selected for, which i agree coz the profile was different so its ok.

Please help anyone...

P1, P2, Q1 Employment Pass and S Pass holders with a fixed monthly salary of at least $2,800 may apply for Dependant’s Passes for their:

spouses
unmarried or legally adopted children under 21 years of age

i don't think MOM is that stupid though, they will know that you are just marrying for convenience.

for more info you can search thru MOM website

it is bad in the eye of MOM, because they will most likely see your marriage as a way for you to get a DP (if your wife is eligible for it).

doesn't matter your true intention is, if you read around, there are too many DP abusers in the past (people that marrying for the sake of the DP).

you can still try though, correct me if i'm wrong, but usually people who work under DP will be paid less than people who can secure a pass based on their qualification.

Look, I'm not trying to discourage or confront you, just telling you what I know. But judging from the info that you give me, I believe it will be quite difficult for you.
