It surely is a tween thing and it will pass.

Been there, done that, gone thru the trauma.

Trust your instincts, give in where u think it is justified and hold out when u think it is not! But be prepared to rough out the storm.

As a mother u r best person to take that call, but the most important thing is to always stay involved no matter how difficult it is.

There r times when u will feel to distance urself from the whole things and to care less because the tantrums do take their toll on u emotionally but as a parent u cannot do that!

U r a goldsmith and ur child is a jewel, ur constant hammering and molding will result in a beautiful piece no matter how hard the resistance is Smiley

Made up, yes. Trendy? Definitely. But it's a good word. A child does not have hormones suddenly rushing through its brain like a teenager. It's a crazy age and I think "tween" is a good word to describe it.
