I am a lawyer on maternity leave and wanted to see if there are any other professional moms out there on mat leave who want to meet up -- with or without baby -- we can talk about babies but also a lot more other things besides babies!!

Employed professional mums to be? You are assuming that currently non-employed women are not professionals?
Contrary to the stereotype on this Board, all of my friends (and me) are graduate professionals, many with post graduate degrees, who have chosen to raise their families for their time in Singapore.
The term "Expat Wives" does not mean we all struggled to graduate high school!!!

I work, but to be honest I wouldn't want to only hang around other people who do ..........are we supposed to only talk about work and how stressful finding the right childcare is or something?
My friends who don't work at the moment are always making me laugh with their playgroup politics and day to day exploits. It's good to have a mix of friends with different lifestyles.
