Seems like all the good places to hang out are along boat/clarke/robertson quay, orchard, dempsy... Any good happy hours in East coast?

I go to the hawker by the Siglap Centre - it's always happy hour Smiley

But I don't know really, I don't think the Sidewalk Tavern do a happy hour.  Not sure about the Dog and Bone though, they might do one.  The Vie Bar have some offer going on - $5 mugs of Tiger or something and there's the Backpacker pub which might do one.  I don't really go to any of them anymore though because they're all so expensive - occasionally go for a Green Goblin at the Sidewalk but the rest of the time I go to the hawker.

Cider pit in Joo chiat - not a happy hour as such, but very affordable. Lots of real ales. Anyway when we do a meet up there the bill comes in lower than most places.

Do you mean as in they've stopped making it?  I had one last week at the Sidewalk and saw it for sale at that Medz place in Orchard Central a few days ago.

The Dog and Bone does not do a happy hour, though I think the Sidewalk Tavern may have recently introduced one on certain days/times (though whether the Archipelago "crafy beers" are worth drinking even on a 2-1 basis is up for debate). There is a bar on Frankel called Querulbar or something that offers 1-1.

Sorry, that should have read Archipelago "craft" beers in my post above. Can't spell without a decent pint beforehand. Does anyone know if anyone on the island has Tsingtao on tap? or Canadian beer in the bottle?
