Any suggestions for the better side of agencies here. Looking for a company with focus on technical sales / marketing / biz development at senior level.
So far everyone seems to be so unprofessional - I guess it's not what I'm used to, struggling to find quality, honesty and consistancy
Appreciate any tips
Cheers  Wink

Nope. They are all 'meat shops'. They even joke about this amongst themselves.

Robert Walters would probably be the most appropriate for the roles you are looking at. But don't have high expectations for what you might consider professionalism - as far as the recruitment consultant is concerned you are there to help them hit their KPIs.

to OP,
of course there are good headhunters out there as well. whilst a bit harder to find I suggest to do the following

- check Headhunters (not the body pushers) on linked in - most of the professionals are on linked in (professional online network) and you can see their expertise
- Singapore is a more conservative market - ie if you have a more diverse CV it may take longer and you probably need more effort to re-write your CV, work on your USP for Singapore market etc
- if you are in finance I also recommend to check efinancialcareers.com

As it is now coming to year end hiring budgets will most likely be less - also following GE (general elections) there is an increased focus on hiring more local talent.
Thus if you do not hear back from third party recruiters or companies that is quite normal. I suggest to call people and try to establish relationships via networking or word of mouth from your peers.

Good luck!
