To Here,
Appreciated for sharing your own experience.
Yeah look forward into the future.
Now when the auguish dimishes and inner-peace is around the corner, I realize suing anybody doesn't really benefit me in learning the best ever lessons.

After the anguish and suffering, you will find peace and resolution. Just let go of the grudge, the sense of being a victim. Life is too short. I usually go for several therapeutic massages to release the stress and emotions.
Good things come out of such experiences, too. I promised myself that I will take all steps to prevent attracting such people in my life ( using alternative techniques eg. clearing of patterns and belief systems). I haven't had a negative experience after that.
There's also the law of cause and effect. Every negative act comes home to roost! I have encountered people who were dismissed / pressured into resignation simply because they discover wrongful practices or are just too talented for their jealous, ambitious rivals. Over time, I received news that all nasty persons, without exception, have come to grief in some way or other! They did it to themselves without any help. Just look at the individuals in power who after 30 years or more of autocratic rule, are now biting the dust.

To Here,
What do you mean by alternative techniques eg. clearing of patterns and belief systems?
I guess you mean to read a person first when you have a selection on whether to work with him/her or not?
Could you elaborate?
Guess I can google it too.

It is a lot to elaborate. If you do not believe in past life karma ( google for this) then I cannot help you further. All I can say is that there are people, including myself, who have freed ourselves from negative experiences including those from the future. I don't want to be fire-fighting everytime, a difficult or unpleasant person comes along to ruin my day / life. The fact that I have enjoyed a trouble-free life for 15 years ( I also eliminate any problem the minute they appear) shows that these techniques work.
A simple way to start is from childhood upbringing. Our beliefs and thought patterns come from what our parents teach us and from our past experiences. Eg. "Life is a struggle", "I am responsible for my family", " Everything I earn goes to paying bills", "Men are jerks", "People are not to be trusted", "I never get credit for what I do"...etc. These are some of the thought patterns that recreate the same experiences which block us from moving forward. Those who have alcoholic / abusive parents have a high probability of ending up with co-dependency or perpetrator-victim roles.
This is as far as it goes. Previously, there were trolls and ignorant people who were super abusive on this board. I have no time for them.
