hanoi with family

Hi all, we are thinking of going to Hanoi for 3 nights sometime next month. We have a 2and 1/2 year old son. I had read that it is a great place for a family vacation and offers entertainment like water parks, fun things to do etc with children and just wanted to get some opinions. Pl advise.

While in Hanoi go and see the Water Puppet show it is well worth it.  You can also go to see the Palace which is worth the visit, especially the walk around area.  We caught a cycloride which was lots of fun.  Walking around the lake area is also nice.
